There's a holy eloquence when we quieten down & listen. We hear our songs of living as a distant whisper, playing like an uninterrupted stream below the lives we are living.
Holy eloquence is the breathless truth as a yoga posture or shape reveals itself as being within you all along. All you needed to do was be patient enough to listen and move from the rough prayer of intention. To let the shape compassionately emerge, complete in the moment of its revelation. In that revelation, you find meaning; you unbind yourself from outdated narratives and bathe in the beauty of being your truth. It’s a rich clarity that comes from trusting yourself and is not given to you by another.
It’s a truth elixir like no other.
When we honour our practice, we invite grace & spaciousness. Our inner voice is revealed, our felt sense becomes intuition, and we learn to trust our guidance. Embodiment is the practice of flowing sensations, thoughts, feelings, images & energy through a landscape populated by narratives or voices from your past. It is your version of holy eloquence, the right to express and release that which is within you.
“I love myself.” the
quietest. simplest, most powerful. revolution. ever.”
- Nayyirah Waheed
When you are companioned in your practice, the notion of community becomes the energy on which you flow and are supported.
The breath of another, the waves of stillness become the echo chamber within which you surrender aloneness & isolation.
Welcome in the community, allow yourself to belong, and be here now. Being in a community practice can lighten the load on your heart. Because, just like you, we are all doing the best we can with what we have in the moment.
Our collective breath rises us beyond our smallness and invites us to widen our capacity together. As we hold space for each other, we reveal, breath by breath, our desire to belong to something greater than ourselves. Our bodies are the gateway home.
